Carlomagno Aguilar, also known as "Carlo the Farmer", is a social entrepreneur, farm consultant, agri-educator, and an advocate of food security. He is passionate about making food-growing a part of daily life.
He began farming in 2010, learning agriculture through hands-on experience. In 2015, he founded Fresherb, a plant nursery in Pampanga supplying planting materials for home growers and fresh produce for local hotels and restaurants.
By 2018, Carlo expanded into farm consultancy, development and management services, helping landowners transform their idle lands into productive farms, enabling farm-to-table practices. He then founded CoGrow Agricultural Services, a company dedicated to building sustainable farms, training the next generation of farmers, and helping farm owners and businesses grow their own food. He leads farm projects across the Philippines— all with a mission to bring food closer to people.
In 2020 and 2021, Carlo was recognized as one of the awardees of BPI Sinag—BPI Foundation’s search for social entrepreneurs, for his impactful farm consultancy business model.
Carlo the Farmer is also active in social platforms such as Youtube, Facebook, Instagram and Tiktok, teaching Filipinos how to grow their own food—because it is his belief that “everyone can grow”.
“Carlo had a simple dream: let everyone have access to food. And that dream is slowly coming to fruition as Carlo teaches landowners what to plant and trains institutions like hotels, resorts and restaurants to grow their own vegetable needs.”

Our Mission
To build new farms, train new farmers and localize food production for a food-secure future.
We envision a Philippines where growing food is a way of life, communities thrive through local and sustainable food production, and there are enough Filipino farmers to feed the future.
